I would like to bring up the idea of “Indian” to label Native Americans, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis, etc. I would also like to talk about lumping East Asians, South Asians, and South East Asians into the general term “Asian” as well.

Many native Americans want to identify as Indian, but the chattering classes through a hissy fit about that so I always use Native American.

The lumping of East Asians, South Asians, and South East Asians into the general term “Asian” first came about as cultural marxists attempted to destroy racial science and replace it with their version of reality. Prior to that, racial scientists had classified the Malays and Mongoloids as separate races, with the Vietnamese, Thai, and Lao people somewhere in between. However, the cultural marxists replaced this with one definition of “Asian.” The Southeast Asians were happy about this arrangement, as you would expect considering the differential achievement of their race compared to that of the Mongoloids. Indian people used to be classified as a part of the Caucasoid race(though not the White race), based on racial anthropology.(This has been confirmed by genetic tests). However, in a case of the Flight From White, they lobbied to be reclassified as Asian. Though, few seem keen on identifying as Asian, most preferring Indian.
