Race/Ethnicity does not equal Nationality

Since people always ask me what my nationality is in order to know my ethnic background it BOTHERS ME LIKE none other.. because my nationality is American. By asking me what my nationality is takes away from my Americanness. So my 6 words are: Race/Ethnicity does not equal Nationality.

    Loved this. I’m an American citizen, but my mother is Japanese. To complicate matters, I spent a lot of my childhood in Japan and Taiwan. Long story short, I totally know where you’re coming from!
