My maternal family was from the South. The N-word and racial slurs were part of normal conversation. Those old tapes still roll. My thinking has changed a lot for the better, but I’m not there yet.

    ..not to worry, you are not important to anyone except yr mom. I see you and I am familiar…my feeling towards you is hard wired too…for my well being. I stay conscious of you because you can’t help your indoctrination.
