I ask this question all the time and encourage my students (at an HBCU) to do the same.
If you’re a decent person, I’d love to meet you. My question is is this the only thing yo wear? Because if you put off an image of a thug, you will be treated like it (kinda the point), but if you dress like this normally, screw those who fear you. Their unnecessary, bilious hatred is evident, and they are not worthy of your respect. Not for a second. Either way, I hope you don’t let this get to you. If you’re a good dude, you’re good, no matter what race you are.
What do you mean, “image of a thug”? Can a White person “dress like a thug” and get the same reaction from you?
