Yes that’s right an Arab Latino

A blessing and a curse growing up mixed racial in the deep south. Born to a Mexican mother and Lebanese father, I have successfully learned to identify with all of my heritages while feeling like an outsider at the same time. When you are with Arabs, there is always your “other half” that they see, just as when you are with Latinos, or Whites. But in the Obama world, this is becoming less of an issue and more of an asset, and a sign of things to come.
