With six degrees, four from grad schools in the USA, I cannot compete fairly to teach African or Caribbean history in which I have a Johns Hopkins doctorate. I have NOT even experienced such race hate even in apartheid South Africa because I look Asian. I know fear feeds racism. So blacks here can be more fearful of competition, and more hostile to “Indians of all kinds.” Who cares about the indigenous Indians? Blacks are NOT indigenous as the usual Black-White dialogue about RACE IN AMERICA suggests, or is mainly concerned about. Today, more brown, Muslim men are killed by black and white Americans without trails than ever happened during slavery in the USA.
