Asians challenge the Black-White racial binary.

Asian Americans have been in the U.S. for hundreds of years and yet we are routinely excluded from discussions about race relations in America. I’m in the 11th grade and I learn nothing about Asian Americans and our long history in America in my U.S. history class. I don’t think we can say we know American history or understand contemporary American politics without making sure that we have a more complete perspective.
