Is it because I am black?

Being black in America means that every time you feel slighted or unfairly treated in the larger society you have to wonder “Is it because I am black?” It’s demoralizing and exhausting.

    …perceptions rule, this is a country founded on racism, classism and sexism. Trust your instincts…it is what it is. You can be bigger than the ruse…just rise above!
