Blonde hair, green eyed, white girl

Devinne,
USA

I lived and worked in the inner city of Milwaukee Wisconsin as an EMT and with the number of times I heard that phrase, it’s stuck. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the words themselves, but the way they would be spoken. I didn’t “know anything” I wasn’t “there to help” and i “didn’t care” because I was the blonde hair, green-eyed, white girl taking care of people from every race, ethnicity, and background.
