p>Asian kid schooled in the South in the 80’s. Was hopeful for progress, participated in many racial bridge builder programs, encouraged inclusiveness in me. Though I thought that by the time I reached adulthood, it would be a better world. Adult me is broken-hearted to see progress was really sentiment silenced and pushed underground, not true change.
