After spending 12 years in the military I learned a lot about fear and the power it holds. One the most powerful motivators is fear which is unfortunate, that being said the person who holds the power has a great responsibility to know that people fear them and to act accordingly. Being cocky is not the answer, humble is the way to go. When people fear something they tend to try and kill it, the correct action is to make yourself strong and wise enough to understand that fear is the enemy and not the one standing in front of you. If you know you are feared it is your responsibility to educate people that there is no reason to fear you and that we are all basically equal as humans.
