I didn’t learn that in school!

The curriculum covered in many schools across the US is ‘white-washed’ and not only were there things I was never taught, but some things I were taught were one-sided and/or wholly inaccurate. It is only through intentional exploration of issues of race as an adult that I have come to understand more about my world and to gain a deeper appreciation for racial diversity in America.
