I’m more than a single mom

Ariel,

When a lot of people think about single moms, they think of broken homes, and that we are minorities. Even stats show that more colored women tend to be single moms, but that doesn’t define us. I, myself am a 19 year old single mother, and I’m looked down upon, but I am so much more. I’m the light to my kids life, I’m a leader, I’m a sister, I’m smart, and I’m a child of God. I’m more than a single mom. -lonestar
