I’m white and I’m raising a biracial child. No, he isn’t adopted. No, I did not birth him. Yes, I love him with a mother’s love. He is my nephew. He is amazing. Raising him has opened my eyes to a whole new perspective on race, what it means to be racist, and how I can make the world a better place for him and for all children.
