…Worried how your baby will look?
41 years ago I married an East Indian Doctor; He was handsome, smart, kind and everything a woman could want. Both of those comments above were made to me, with all seriousness and , I think, with absolute ignorance as to how they sounded. I was 8 months pregnant when I got the “worried how your baby will look?” question. This was 1973! I was shocked at the insensitivity and that our nation had not yet moved passed such stupidity! I am LONG time NPR supporter-KJZZ!
