Still find it hard to love powerful racist white ppl… Was involved in some civil rights activity in Southern VA in the early 60’s as a young white VISTA worker from New England… Knowing about all of the racist violence in US history has left some unhealed wounds apparently. Jesus said “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” MLK was able to love, not hate. I am still ANGRY with a hard wall around part of my heart about what happened to so many of my black brothers and sisters…
