I had some speculation as to my race, thinking I could have some Native Hawaiian in me, hence the curly hair, but I also remembered my father is somewhat Native as well as Mexican and Aztec. He also had curly hair when he was my age. Even my older half brother, his mother’s side being Caucasian, has curly hair when his hair grows longer. My hair used to be rather straight and extremely long but around the time of puberty, it began to wave into tighter curls.
