Whenever asked for RACE, I tick “OTHER” and write in HUMAN. For certainly I have never seen a “WHITE” race (and I am not white—my skin is more creme brûlée and that is never listed). And certainly I have never seen a “BLACK” race (though I have seen many shades of cocoa to espresso flesh). African or Asian or Latino is a descent or heritage (mine, European, isn’t listed). So, the homo sapien that I am hopes to find kinship with others of my human race.
