Raised By Prejudice, Transformed to Acceptance

McKenna Book,
Sioux City, IA

I was raised by a family who was generally quite closed to other ethnicities/cultures. I never knew any differently and never questioned it as I thought it was normal. As I got older, I found myself loving the diversity of other cultures and have found most people from these cultures are so much more accepting than people of my own race. We are all humans and all so deserving and worth of acceptance and respect.
