I don’t consider myself to be prejudiced but I sometimes experience a feeling of uneasiness when I encounter certain individuals – both black and white. You can’t look at somebody and know whether they’re just going about their business or if they mean you harm. How do I undo this feeling? How do I learn to trust everyone equally? Is that even possible? I don’t want to feel this way but it’s a crazy world these days.

But since I’ve moved here I can’t help but notice that many of the stereotypes of black males are true. I’ve been chased down the street by black males, groped by black males and sexually assaulted by a black male in the street. Since then I’ve been scared of black males. I wish there was some education of black males that they shouldn’t harass women in the street and should treat women with respect.

I have not heard these guys say much, if ANYTHING about young black males killing other young black males. Nor have I heard them say much, if ANYTHING about black males killing non black males. Are these problems somehow less important than when a white person kills a black person? It seems that these 2 are very one sided in their approach and focus and WHAT could be more racist than THAT?
