Stop acting like blacks are saints

Jimmy,
New York, NY

Obviously 400 years of segregation is the cause of today’s black society. And obviously, there is a tremendous amount of white trash, idiots who think Trump is a good businessman, great man, knows what he’s doing, and a class act. There are so many white pedophiles, liars, cheaters, thieves, senseless bigots, and a-holes, the number is in the tens of millions. And I fully believe that they’d occupy the same roles black people do if white ppl had been enslaved and exiled like blacks were.

So maybe in that sense, I am not racist at all, in that I know circumstance is responsible for the differences in races now.

But I also can’t stand my fellow white liberals who act as if black people are angels when the only ones they know are successful highly-educated black individuals they might at their prestigious colleges.

I live near the projects, and the lack of manners, lack of decency, promotion of killing, drugs, recklessness, disrespect as a way of life, is appalling. This is a major part of black culture, whether you like it or not. And my close black friends willingly admit to this.

Black people don’t want to have dialogues in this country, they want monologues, where white ppl sit there, listen, then do everything that was told for them to do to “make things right.” Reparations in the hundreds of thousands if not millions. They hate the police, yet tell us how awful it is to be black because of all the violence. All the violence is within the community, not coming from the outside, and the only way to solve it is from education and policing. Yet so few black ppl I know take education seriously.

I guess what I’m saying is that yeah white ppl would be in that place, and have those issues if they’d been oppressed, but liberal America needs to shut up and stop acting like black people are the angels that they aren’t. Poor black people are just the same as poor white people… and as the poor white people in rural, downtrodden, crummy areas, they are under-educated, prone to violence, drugs, love disrespect and pi**ing off society and hate the cops. And the black people who were raised in privilege tend to be much higher caliber, just like white people of the same circumstance.

In other words, they’re humans… mostly pretty shi**y, some pretty good, a small percent really great, just like
whites and Chinese and Hispanics.

But given they are where they are, they need to step it up and break the culture of promoting violence, dropping out of school, having babies as teenagers, fighting, drug dealing, and disrespecting women and gay people.

I am tired of talking race

Anonymous,
USA

I don’t care what skin color you have. I only care about people being kind to each other. There is far too much hate on all sides. I’m tired of it. Just shut up! Anyone whining about it don’t want my help anyway! So please DO something. Stop shouting and take action and NO I don’t mean protesting. That does hardly anything. DO SOMETHING MEANINGFUL. DO SOMETHING RESPECTABLE. People won’t take you seriously if all you do is cry. Grow up and be adults. Grow up. Grow up. Grow up!

Why Do They Think We’re Racists

Josh Parker Grimm,
Kansas City, KS

I hate it when minorities, in general, think all whites are racists. I even have a black friend who calls me a racist cracker because I’m white. It doesn’t make sense, I wasn’t born in the 50’s, and I think we all need to be equal. Maybe because of the stereotypical jokes I make towards people but they’re just jokes and they aren’t even harsh. Besides I don’t mean them literally, I say them to laugh with my friends. I just hate that they think we are all racists.

White trash married to black man

I still hear this comment from people even after being in a 32 year long loving marriage, having 3 children, and 5 grandchildren. I have heard that comment or a similar one from whites and blacks and that is truly sad to me. Love has no color boundaries in my eyes and love will always win over hate.

You don’t want truth? Too bad.

Sammy Miller,
New Orleans, LA

It’s interesting that people say they want equality. What they really want is to demean. I hear people say that white people are so used to being white that they can’t stand advancement of another race.

We hear all the hurtful mocking of whites.
They can’t dance
They have no taste in music.
They are Karens
They think they are better.
They are trying to “be black”
They are stealing our culture.
They are trying to take over BLM.
On and on.

They say now whites know how it feels.

We have all been mocked, ridiculed, and hurt.
We were taught that kids matter what someone does to you, you don’t take it out on others. This doesn’t seem to apply to whites anymore. Society makes it ok to tell whites they aren’t wanted. That they shouldn’t lift their voices because they don’t know what it is like to be darker skinned. The ignorance of that is staggering.

The hate and vitriol directed at whites because of something someone else did is as irrational as being scared of black men for being black. It’s as useless as believing all black women are baby machines with 7 different dads.
Because you are angry and hurt you want to punish all whites and give them a taste of their own medicine.
While you point fingers at whites for their privilege ask yourself what it would be like to be subjected to the same scrutiny. You say you are invisible. Imagine everything you say and do being dissected, ready to be pounced on as racist or hateful. If a white woman ignores a black man who approaches her in the store then she is a supremacist! not simply disinterested. She is subject to constant scrutiny constant evaluation. You can forget complaining about a completely disruptive employee who happens to not be white because that results in instantly being ostracized.

I hear the seething “well white people deserve it!” But do they?

If dark skinned women yell, act rude, or even brawl in public, it’s accepted as “their culture”. It seems a lot like a “Karen” to think you can do whatever you want and that the rules shouldn’t apply to you.

No one bats an eye at black people promoting the exclusive patronage of black owned businesses. They do it out in the open. Promoting their own brand of supremacy.

Regarding reparations. I’m curious why people are not out demanding reimbursement from families of offenders for lives that have been taken by murder. Is it unfair to hold parent accountable for the actions of their children? If an entire race bears the responsibility for their ancestors or the ancestors of people that look like them, then why can victims of crime not seek reparations from the parents and grandparents of the offender? They are directly responsible for how that person behaves. Parents have a direct influence on how their children develop and interact with society.

Why are women looked down upon for accepting money as reparations for rape when that is exactly what thousands of black people Say they deserve deserve for something that happened to their ancestors.

If a woman Is a greedy B for taking money to make her life easier then what should she accept for a physical and mental violation? An apology? A jail sentence? The fact that it is illegal?

True equality comes from melding of cultures. Are you ready to accept that?

I BET YOU HATE YOUR HAIR

my-curlsTiana,
Wildomar, CA.

Typically I get complimented on my hair that I have inherited from my mother’s side. As a mixed breed people struggle to figure out what I am exactly, but my hair is a tell tale sign that I am not white. Aside from various compliments I always get that one girl that just assumes that I hate my hair, that I hate being different, and that I hate having to deal with…being different. In the end, dealing with curly hair is no different from dealing with any kind of hair…it’s still hair.

Who invented the “race card” anyway?

Anniversary-2013Kathryn Terry,
Katy, TX.

I hate the term “race card” because when I hear it, it tells me that the person using it doesn’t have any desire to listen to or understand anything about the experiences of racism that people of color face. If you think there’s a “race card”, who do you think put it in the deck to begin with? Why is there such a need to deny the lived experiences of black people, when our history both past and recent gives evidence that there is truth that needs to be listened to and faced in order to heal and change and make the world better for future generations? When I hear “race card” I feel discouraged that people cling to their racist assumptions.

Born a crime ; Black and alive.

Bankole,
West Chester, PA.

Why?
Why do you hate me?
Why is my existence considered a pestilence in your eyes?
Why do you kill me?
Why do you murder my sons and tarnish my reputation?
Why do you rape my wives and daughters?
Why do you take from me and call it emancipation?
“You hate me don’t you?
You hate my people, your plan is to terminate my culture.”
You love to see me down,
you pick me up only to toss me to the ground.
Why you over-work my mommy?
Why you take my daddy from me?

Go Ahead and Call Me Cracker

Jackie Barclay
USA

Years ago, I had a run-in at a convenience store with a black woman who apparently hated me because I’m white. I didn’t know the woman and had never gone to that store before but she started calling me a huzz, a bitch, etc. Just when I was getting angry enough to call her a n*****, she called me a Cracker. That one caught me up short and I burst out laughing and said, “Yeah, well, I’m a Ritz,” and walked out of the store.

So “Cracker” doesn’t bother me. There are dozens of flavors of crackers, all delicious. And that taught me to refuse to let anyone make me ashamed of my European heritage.

Just one never happened friendship story

Julie B.,
Itasca, IL.

This story started on social network, I followed one blogger I have mutual friend with. She is black woman in her 30th, single. I was reading her timeline and it was pretty interesting meaning her style and subjects she chooses. We started exchanging comments and “likes” and everything was fine, I felt like she likes talking to me and we have thing in common until, I can’t even tell what happened, but after I sent her a friend request she blocked me completely… I read through our conversation and I could not find even one message that can give me an idea why it happened. I am white, I am 40. I have a kid and I am single. Her profile public, so all friends and family can read it. I have a feeling that because I came too close like becoming friends she decided she doesn’t need it or she was advised do not do that or I got really weird feeling that she play me from beginning just to be able to dump at the end… I don’t know why I think this way but seems like no other explanation. She has a video about people negativity, racism and many other post about social problems however we never touched that subject. Now I can only guess what went wrong. I am disappointed and surprised that people do such a childish things. I see only one reason – I am white and she hates me in general.

Many mistakes from people my race

Cole,
St Paul, MN.

My people have believed they are superior for as long as I’ve known. Not only is it frustrating that my race fails to see others as equal but the fact that even after all my people have done they still can’t see how they’ve impacted the lives of other races. Seeing the struggles of other races just makes me wonder how most white people can’t see their advantages in life. I feel like my people need to wake up and see the real world. I hate how when I’m looked at by a person of color I’m perceived as racist.
