The 50th anniversary of the Selma March is today. These are just some words I thought of as I thought of this event. We’ve come a long way as a country but yet we have a long way to go.

It hard to think after all this, the black race still call them self n*****. I find my-self as a black woman that we still lack the respect for ourself. May be some days we can be mentally free. No one talk about this any more it is sad that we hold this “N*****” mentality to each other are are highly offended when we are still treated the way we do.
