Tan skin, hazel eyes, long hair

Kat
Baltimore, MD

My mother is black and my father is white. Out of their children, I am the lightest & whitest looking. Plenty of people assume that I am white and treat me differently. My mother raised me by herself, I went to majority black schools and lived in majority black neighborhoods for over 10 years but some people just see my skin and assume. I am grateful for those who can see that I am biracial because I do not consider myself white.
