WE all want the same things

Dawn Erica Veronica Murray Nadeaud
Toronto, Canada

Irrespective of race, religion and country of origin, we all want and deserve the same things – peace, love and prosperity for our families and for ourselves. We are more alike than we are different. This is what I have learned over the past 48 years of my life. I am thankful to live in Canada, in a diverse city, in a diverse neighbourhood where my family have benefited from friendships and relationships with people of many different cultures, races and backgrounds. I have faith that the world is changing but we cannot be blind to our history and we must be ever vigilant and continue to fight for the rights and freedoms of all people, all races, all religions, all sexual orientations.
