I have 4 “biracial” children. I am a white mom. I have raised my children black because society will never give them a “pass” because they have a white mom. The cops? See my kids black. The shopkeeper? Again see my kids as black.
In a Trump world, the guilt that I did this to my kids when I could have had white kids. The struggles they have and prejudice- I just wish I could make it go away. And I know that when they are called the N word, I could have prevented it for my kids.
