“You’re Mexican???? I’d still date you”

………………excuse me? I was talking to a guy I liked when he asked me if I was Native American. I told him that I’m actually Mexican, White, Italian, and Philippino but I could only get the first one out before he interrupted and said “oh you’re Mexican? That’s ok I’d still date you, I don’t discriminate” (note this boy is white) to me, it sounds like he thinks he’s doing me a favor by dating me. It just put me off.
