God’s colorblind. I’m trying to be.

If I believe – really believe – that we are all made in the image and likeness of God, then how can I allow any room in my heart for discrimination against anyone who is not like me? I know for certain that if I manage to catch the “up” elevator on my way out of this world, I’m going to meet a whole lot of my black, white, brown, gay, straight, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, male, female, short, tall, democratic, republican, liberal, and conservative brothers and sisters when I get to Heaven.
