My family history may seem very straight forward when you look at me: white, able-bodied young woman from a working-class family. However, I am actually a very rare case. My dad is adopted and I have never met his blood relatives before. My older sibling are half-siblings and my little sister is adopted from China. I a complicated, mix of a lot of pieces, making me very out of the ordinary from the people around me.
