So sick of hearing about race.

Dan Wort,

I grew up in a city with a fairly large percentage of blacks. Some of my best friends were black. We were in classes together, played in the band together, sang in choir together. They hung out at my house playing cards, drinking kool-aide, and eating chocolate chip cookies. It didn’t matter what color our skin was. We were friends. President Obama had the perfect opportunity to bring the country together along racial lines, but he did the opposite. There has been so much more race-baiting and division driven by the media and certain politicians over the last 8-12 years than ever before. Yet I would argue that the overwhelming majority of whites and blacks in this country get along with one another and don’t look at each other through the lens of color first.
