Too many times I have been labeled as the angry black women because I opinionated. And it hurts to be labeled just because I have an opinion. No, I am not an Angry Black Woman but I am mother, a sister, a college graduate, a friend. Lets stop labeling people.
Also My life matters and so d my childrens lives! My six words pertained to me as a black women but my young black son has dealt with racism and profiling by a police officer who abused his power and it isn’t fair to my son. He was profiled at the age of 5. As a parent that hurt a lot and i was lucky that things worked in my sons favor but a lot of black and brown parents can not say the same.
