To start, I should say that I do not think that African-Americans should leave America. I think that the U.S. is still the land of freedom and opportunity for everyone, regardless of skin color. My question is for those African-Americans who feel that the U.S. is intolerably racist and that the racism of white America is responsible for all their problems, why not move to other countries where you can live among other blacks? Wouldn’t this be so much happier for you than living amongst what you say is a constant daily barrage of oppression and harassment by whites? I really just don’t get it.
