Punished for what my ancestors did

Just because my ancestors might have been racist or owned slaves doesn’t mean that is what I believe. I shouldn’t be judged because I look like the people that did these bad things. Just because I’m some “white boy” it doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to have an opinion and a voice. I have been told that I am not allowed to speak at a group discussion because I’m white and because I wouldn’t get it and it’s my people that are the racist ones.
