You can’t lead, you’re a woman!

Despite having a management degree, I have been told this phrase, in so many various ways, by teachers, employers to be, managers and directors. It happens over and over – in one form or another. It doesn’t matter how smart, hard-working and talented you are. Be content to do the side work – women don’t lead. And women that are not attractive have no place in the world at all. We are invisible.
