I’ve heard this phrase for many years. Even Mexicans show racism towards other Mexicans. People seem to prefer light-skinned Mexicans to darker-skinned ones. I’ve witnessed this even with my family. My grandparents from my father’s side showed more love to my sister because she’s light-skinned and I’m not.
