Everyone in the USA is required to attend school, unlike impoverished countries around the world. Our education system is paid for. If you are not learning in school, it is through either your own fault, or a physical/mental requirement for special needs, which is also provided for in our system. If your school is underfunded, or your teachers are no good, there are FREE public libraries to go and learn from. If your school is violent it is because of YOU. If you do not behave in school and your teachers are afraid it is because of YOU. I am extremely tired of hearing excuses. Other children around the world are proud to attend school in open fields, or under bridges, or in shanties. YOUR lack of education is voluntary. You qualify for grants and loans for college. Stop the blame game, pull up your pants, turn off the rap-crap, clean your room and hit the books.
