You’re one of the good ones

For years there have been horrible stereotypes or depictions of black men being these criminalistic people who are only going to look out for number one (themselves). Every day, I feel obligated to try to break these stereotypes by attempting to be as non-threatening as possible. I then get, “You’re one of the good ones.”
