To understand privilege and uplift all

Race is a social construct, but with that came real life issues. I am thankful to have the opportunity to learn about racism instead of experience it. A lot of people like to brush off the issue like it is nothing, but racism is still prominent all around us. I see it at school and at my workplace. I try my best to shut racist comments down immediately. It is everywhere, not matter what race it is against. I think it is very important for white people like me to understand our privilege in the US, and use it to educate those around us.
