No, I’m not made of porcelain

I am a child of a full Hispanic father and half white and Japanese mother. My skin is quite fair, my checks are naturally a shade of pink and I do have slanted eyes. As a child I grew up around my Hispanic family, where everyone around me was darker and looked different than me. Due to my physical features (my eyes) and the fact that my family seemed to only know about one type of Asian which was Chinese ; I would be called a China doll. This bothered me a little because I’m not Chinese, I’m Japanese and I love to embrace that.
