Everyone’s different, so deal with it

This may seem like a statement for someone to tell others, but its something I have to privately tell myself.
I am a Mexican American engineer highly educated gay man. No mater what avenue I turn to for acceptance I will always stand out. Even in a family with six siblings I stand out like a sore thumb. So I accept it for myself and tell myself its a non issue.
This has probable made me more abrasive as a person, but if its something I need to move forward, is there anything wrong with that?
