I don’t care about my race.

p>We live in a day and age where everything seems to be about race, and as someone who loves humankind, I think bringing race into everything does nothing but cause greater division. I have plenty of White, Black, Hispanic, and other friends, and we don’t talk about race, we just do life together. I would argue that constantly bringing up race, even if it is in an attempt to support people of other heritages, is more divisive than unitive. We are one race: the human race. We all bleed red. I don’t think certain groups need certain days/months in honor of them, I think we should all just celebrate humanity and unity. We are stronger together, so it is time to look past color and look at people for who they are…HUMAN!
