People judge me because I’m black

I see your expression. When I say the first three words, and your eyebrows go up because I don’t speak in ebonics. I’m sick and tired of people watching me closely when I walk into a store. I hate when the media makes my entire race look stupid. I’m black. But why should it matter? It’s just a color, for god’s sake. How does that effect my intellect? My intelligence? How? What could that possibly have to do with my mind? Nothing. Exactly.

If you’re racist, leave me alone. I don’t care about your vain attempts to hurt me, but leave me alone. I don’t have a “ghetto” accent. I don’t have C’s and D’s. I just want to get this out to people: How does the color of your skin effect who you are inside? It doesn’t. You can stop judging me, now. Leave me alone.
