You can’t fight racism with racism.

Being racist towards white people, setting double standards or heavily restricting white people where POC are given the ability to say and do anything, even if it is offensive will only perpetuate racism.
It doesn’t matter if you think it is justified or not. Human nature is the same, regardless of skin color. White people aren’t magical fairies that don’t experience the same hurt from an insulting remark, generalization or unwarranted guilt that another human would.

If you don’t like racism, don’t be racist. It’s very simple but apparently difficult to understand.
I think this is probably due to highly publicized, praised and respected people in the race debate like Nazeem Hussain making remarks like the one he did on national radio a few weeks ago saying that POC can insult white culture but white people cannot do the same. He also said that women can insult Men’s sexuality but not vice versa.
He said that it is not even racism, when a POC is racist toward a white person.

This makes white people feel like they aren’t respected or that POC are seen as more important than them. If you think that it is fine for them to be made to feel like that doesn’t matter.
The effect will be the same. That person will feel insulted, upset, unheard, disrespected and they will very likely develop racist opinions because of that experience. They will teach their children to do the same and hence racism continues.

If you want to say that it is white people’s fault when POC are racist, then it must also be accepted that it is the fault of people who think being racist towards a white person is okay that this individual will now develop a racist attitude.

If you don’t like racism, don’t be racist.

All black people are not the same and guess what ALL WHITE PEOPLE ARE ALSO NOT THE SAME EITHER!
Different humans are DIFFERENT. Shocking news.
