Don’t judge book by its cover!

Leon Robert,
Riverside, CA.

I identify as black but often times get mistaken for a white person over the phone. When people have come into my work to see me, I’ve heard comments like, “Oh, I though you were white”. My usual response is, “Interesting. What does a white person sound like?” The responses are usually quite entertaining, as you can imagine! Shout out to my school, California Baptist University in Riverside CA, class CBU HIS311 !
