Every form I ever fill out, I check ‘White’, because my ancestors moved her 3 generations ago from Holland and Germany. There is a category for everything under the sun – but me. I’m just white. And I’m OK with that. Maybe we focus so much on classification that we forget the present reality of who we really are.
