It sucks being black in America

I am a 52 year old white man from Birmingham, Al. I had the opportunity to meet Michele at the 16th Street Baptist Church when she was promoting her book “The Grace of Silence”. The more I learn about life in America for African Americans the heavier my heart becomes at how they are treated. I can’t know what it is like to live here as a black man or woman, but I know that if I suffered the same treatment African Americans apparently experience every day of their lives, I would be enraged!
