White People in Gentrified Brooklyn

Sarinya
New York City, NY

It is sad to me that this is an amazing exhibit and the battle against gentrification is being lost in this neighborhood. We have not come very far from this time period and the results show by who is here to have the privilege to come to the museum and learn about it. Racism is alive and strong but is pervasive through different means. It might not be as blatant as it once was, but we must not forget to still strive for a just society.
