All power I see is white

Erin,
St. Louis, MO.

In my world today I associate power with people who are white. All my teachers and school leaders, white. My parents, white. The police in my area, white. All forms of power and authority in my life are white and this is how its been since I was little. Fear those who are colored or different, respect and look up to those who are white. Its a cruel world but its reality, and its been drilled into my life since infancy.
