I was born in Mexico and came to the USA as a child. I am so proud of my culture and love Mexico, but I also love the US. When I visit Mexico with my mom people in Mexico see me as not a “true” Mexican, because I haven’t actually been there; so, for them am more American than Mexican. In the US; I wasn’t born here which makes me different than everyone else. So, every time am asked where am from; I have to explain, I was born in Mexico and raised in the US.
