Listen to others besides your own

Kaitlyn Marek,

All too often, I hear my white friends and family members only promoting their own ideas about society and race amongst themselves, which usually creates an “us vs. them” dynamic. All I ask of my other white folk is to genuinely listen to other people and believe their experiences instead of doubting them to maintain your own personal, emotional agenda.
