I can see and hear you

As a white woman in the United States I have learned to recognize my privilege. Growing up in a rural area has not exposed me to very much diversity, however I have learned how to be an ally and recognize the inequality in our country. I have had countless conversations about how to try to change this unfairness. I just want to make everyone know that they are seen and heard and we are making progress. I realize that the inequality in our country is unjust and should not even be an issue, but it is. We need to do more to fix it.
